After a highly unconventional childhood in the 'Children of God' cult, Noah Thomson escaped to begin a normal life. But after years of daily abuse and neglect, it is hard for Noah and other former to know exactly what 'normal' is. Now a filmmaker, Thomson goes in search of the young adults who have attempted to make a life for themselves outside of the controversial Christian cult--many of whom have struggled to adjust to the outside world.
