Watch Cyrano de Bergerac

Cyrano de Bergerac is a filmed adaptation of the famed classical opera. It is a musical romantic comedy-drama, based on the play by French poet Edmond Rostand. The title role of Cyrano is played by Spanish tenor Placido Domingo. In the story, Cyrano pines after the beautiful Roxanne, who only has eyes for Christian. Cyrano is considered ugly with a huge nose, but is an accomplished sword-fighter and has the gift of gab. Christian, on the other hand, is handsome, but terrible at talking. Christian enlists Cyrano to help him woo Roxanne, to which Cyrano reluctantly agrees.
