Two women are struggling with life after war. Jobs are scarce and prices of everything are high. One woman turns to prostitution as her source of income, feeling it is all she has to offer. The other woman keeps searching for a better way of life. The prostitute's success is short lived when their Austrian village turns on the illicit hotel and things take a turn for the worse.
