Watch Pikoor Diary

Pikoor Diary is a 1981 Indian movie, well before the advent of Bollywood. It stars Pikoor, a young man who lives in a ghetto with his grandfather, who has raised him from a very young age. Pikoor is also a painter. He sells many of his drawings to make a living. It is through those drawings that a picture of Pikoor emerges. The scenes of Pikoor with his grandfather are hilarious. At one point, in tears, reminiscing as to what his life could have been, Pikoor sees a flower in a garden and creates a painting of it. There's symbolism throughout.
