Watch Satantango

This movie is a combination of a drama with a little comedy thrown in. Made in 1994, this movie starts out with the people in the country of Hungry who live together in a little city who are in the middle of the control of Communism. The only place to work in their town has been shut down and they have been told they will be given a settlement because of the closure. While waiting for this settlement. The story continues dealing with the details of the life of three different couples and the town physician. As the story goes on a member of their town, Irimias returns to them even though he has been gone for a while and was thought to be dead and tries to convince them to be in cahoots with them in a scheme put together with him and the local police that he is working with.

This movie won the Experimental Film Award from the National Society of Film Critics.
