The Real King's Speech is a documentary film that was released in 2011. The film takes a look at King George VI who was the King of Britain during World War II. The kind had a speech impediment, and secretly underwent speech therapy so he could speak in public. This was made famous by the movie The King’s Speech, was released the year before this documentary. The film explores some of the misconceptions presented by the dramatic film.
