Laid is an Australian television series that aired from 2011 to 2012. The show revolves around the life of its protagonist, Roo McVie, and her adventures in contemporary dating. Roo is a thirtysomething woman who finds herself single at a time when most of her friends are settling down and starting families. Feeling out of step with the rest of the world, Roo embarks on a series of sexual encounters that lead her into a variety of bizarre and hilarious situations.

The show is created by Marieke Hardy, Kirsty Fisher, and Liz Doran. It was produced by Liz Doran and directed by Trent O'Donnell. The show stars Alison Bell as Roo McVie, along with Celia Pacquola, Toby Truslove, and Abe Forsythe. The show ran for two seasons, with each season containing six episodes.
