Love Cheer is a dramatic television series about the experiences of a young woman who is tricked into getting a divorce by her husband after six years of marriage. He tricks her into g divorce papers. The series focuses on all that Jae-mi, the woman, needs to do in order to get her life back together after her husband leaves her. Jae-mi is cute and clumsy and despite the many dramatic situations she faces, the series throws in a lot of comic relief thrown in. 3a192

Jae-mi's husband is cruel and makes the separation hard for her. He even takes out all of the money the couple had in their bank , leaving Jae-mi penniless. Her husband ends up getting married to his mistress who is a complete gold-digger. Over time, regrets his decision to leave Jae-mi.

Jae-mi is also still in love with her husband and she is finding it hard to move on from him. Her lawyer keeps telling her to accept the divorce and go after her husband for spousal but Jae-mi does not want to listen. Jae-mi's aunt desperately tries to get her to listen to reason and stop pursing her husband because he cheated on her.

More devastation comes Jae-mi's way when she fights out her ex has gotten his mistress pregnant. She is so furious when she finds this out that she slaps him, a rare show of violence from Jae-mi. The mistress' mother is a wealthy lady who doesn't like Jae-mi's ex and she lets her feelings be known. The mistress also has a brother with gang associations that she hides behind whenever she and Jae-mi's ex fight. Jae-mi's ex-husband soon begins to realize how much he misses Jae-mi and the life he had with her. He begins to regret his decision to leave. However, Jae-mi begins to grow in strength and independence and she finds that she has no more room for him in her life.
